# Authoring Information

Each piece of **content** within Drupal has a designated **Author**. To change the **Author** for a specific **content**, follow the steps and screenshots below:

1. Go to the **Content** you would like to edit and click on **Edit.**
2. Click on the **Authoring information** tab from the node setting
3. Edit the **Author** and the **Authoring Date**
4. Click **Save.**
